What exactly is breakfast food??

So what exactly is and isn’t “breakfast” food? To some people breakfast is defined strictly in very narrow terms as eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, toast and other similar items that your grandmother would have made. There is nothing wrong with this, but I for one prefer to think of “breakfast” food as anything I eat before lunch regardless of what it is. With that in mind we have decided it is time to start trying out some ideas. Tonight we went with Crabcakes, made from a recipe from Clean Eating Magazine with some slight changes, along with poached eggs, asparagus and Hollandaise sauce. A little bit of fresh chopped parsley and Old Bay seasoning rounded out the dish.
