A little fun.

Yesterday, before stopping off at the property we started the day at the Nelson Farmers’ Market. Unfortunately, we never made it our here last year after stopping at it several times the year before. This is a great market with lots of local vendors and artisans, many of which we hope to use as our suppliers when we open up the B&B. We always have a great time here and pick up some awesome goodies. One of our favorites is Caromont Farm. Gail makes some amazing cheeses and we can’t wait to feature them at the Inn as part of our afternoon Wine & Cheese Hour (ok, I just made that name up and I know it needs work, the point is we’ll serve wine, cheese, crackers, sausage or anything else that comes to mind). From here we made our way over to DelFosse Vineyards and Winery. They are just over 4 miles from us and have a beautiful facility and grounds as shown in these pictures.

On the way home we also stopped off at another one of our favorites – Old House Vineyards. We ran it some friends here and had a great time as always.
